Privacy Policy
Effective 13 October 2026
Leevo is published by Universley, a company registered in Colorado, USA ("we"). The app has no account, no server of ours, no analytics and no advertising. Your location and your trips stay on your iPhone. The one exception is Apple Maps, which the app asks for places and drive times.
What the app uses
- Location. While a trip is running, including when the app is in the background, Leevo reads your location to work out how long the drive to your destination takes. Outside a trip it reads your location only while you are setting one up, to show a first estimate and to centre the map.
- Your trip. The destination, the time you must arrive, your buffer and warning settings, and location samples recorded during the trip.
- Notifications. The "get ready" and "leave" alerts are scheduled on your phone. No push service is involved.
Where it is kept
All of it is stored on your iPhone, in the app's own storage. We do not receive it and cannot read it. The app keeps the current trip and the last finished trip; starting a new trip replaces the older one. It also keeps a diagnostic log of recent trips on the device, which is never uploaded.
Deleting the app deletes everything it stored.
What leaves your phone
To search for a destination and to calculate drive time, the app uses Apple's Maps service. That sends your search text, your current location and your destination to Apple. Apple handles those requests under the Apple Privacy Policy. The app makes no other network requests.
Beta testing with TestFlight
If you install a beta build through Apple's TestFlight, Apple may collect crash logs and usage information and share them with us, depending on the choices you make in TestFlight. If you send feedback or a screenshot through TestFlight, we receive it together with your device model and iOS version. If we invited you by email, we hold the email address you gave us for that purpose.
If you write to support@leevo.cc, we receive your email address and whatever you put in the message. We use it to answer you and keep it for as long as the conversation is useful. Mail to that address is forwarded by Cloudflare and stored in Google's Gmail.
This website
leevo.cc sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking scripts. It is hosted by Cloudflare, which, like any host, processes the IP address and basic request details of each visit in order to serve the page and protect the service.
Sharing and selling
We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for advertising. We would disclose information only if the law required it, and the only information we could disclose is what is described under "Beta testing" and "Email" above.
Children
Leevo is a tool for drivers and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Your choices
- You can turn off location access or notifications for Leevo in iOS Settings at any time. The app cannot track a trip without location.
- You can remove everything the app stored by deleting it.
- You can ask us to delete your emails or your beta tester record by writing to support@leevo.cc.
Changes
If the app starts handling data differently, we will update this page and change the date at the top before the change ships.
